Colts End Season With a Tie

The 7th grade Colts finished their 2007 season last Thursday night at home against Comfort.

The Colts scored early in the first quarter.  The Colt defense stopped Comfort and had a short field.  Garratt Bawcom ran wide and scored the Colts' touchdown.  Quarterback Gunter Pennington handed the ball off to Damon Evans who got in the endzone for the two points.

 

The Colts led 8 to 0 into the fourth quarter of the game.  Comfort tied the game with a little over two minutes left in the game by going to the air.

 

The Colts tried to drive the ball the length of the field, but were stopped by Comfort's defense. The final score was 8 to 8.

 

Sonora's 7th graders finished the season 6-2-1.
